Castle Hill is nowadays the setting for a wonderful romantic park that is very pleasant for relaxation. Sitting on a bench, you can enjoy a park that is shaded by a variety of evergreen, conifer and broad-leaved trees. New flights of steps put in from Les Ponchettes lead to the Tour Bellanda, rebuilt in 1825.

The surprising waterfall, built in 1885 on the site of the old castle keep and fed with water by various modern water supplies, adds to the site’s natural appeal.
In the 1950s and 60s, as the remains of the cathedral were excavated, walls and walkways were adorned with a classical inspiration.
