Display of contemporary design.

The former fish market, it was turned into an exhibition hall in 1967 to complement the Galerie des Ponchettes.

After the opening of the Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain (Nice’s museum of modern and contemporary art) in 1990, the Galerie de la Marine became the Galerie-Musée Alexis et Gustav-Adolf-Mossa, with works coming from the Museum of Fine Arts.

The gallery has now regained its original vocation: the presentation of contemporary design.
